Our minimally invasive devices are used in research and diagnostics, helping to advance our understanding of diseases and microscopic processes deep inside sensitive tissues in real time. DeepEn was founded in 2024 as a spinoff from the Department for Holographic Endoscopy, led by Prof Dr Tomas Cizmar at Leibniz Institute of Photonic Technology in Jena, Germany. Wow! We were blown away by the Investor Days Thüringen 2024 in Erfurt. An outstanding program of panel sessions and pitches set the mood for startups and investors to connect in #CentralGermany. To round up a great afternoon, DeepEn Co-Founder Patrick Westermann gave a terrific pitch and was awarded a prize in the form of a strategic coaching budget with consultants from EY, handed over by Michael Bätz.
