CUREosity GmbH announces the successful conclusion of a growth financing round. A total of 3.8 million euros was committed by existing and new investors in the completed growth financing round. Caesar van Heyningen (CEO): "The current successful course – consisting of scaling markets and high-quality updates of our therapy software – is strengthened by this financing. We plan to invest heavily in commercial expansion, incorporating tomorrow's technological possibilities into our product roadmap today. With this financing round, we can ensure financial independence and sustainable business operations. A privilege – especially in tight market conditions." Among others, the existing investor TVF | TechVision Fonds and the Belgian family office NOMAINVEST have contributed as new co-investors. The growth financing round was accompanied by the law firms ADVANT Beiten and Forvis Mazars Group, whom CUREOSITY would like to thank for their productive and successful collaboration. In the independent study by Lülsdorff et al. (2023), the effectiveness of Virtual Reality in the treatment of stroke patients in a group setting was compared with the already established robot-assisted therapy method. * Significantly more patients in the group treated with CUREO® showed clinically relevant improvements in arm functionality * The extent of improvement in the group treated with CUREO® was significantly greater than in the comparison group. The study entitled "Neurorehabilitation of the upper extremity - immersive virtual reality vs. electromechanically assisted training. A comparative study" was published in December 2023 in the established journal Frontiers in Neurology.
