Dr. Josef Glass from our company spoke at the very nice event organised in Straubing Bavaria, the CARMEN Symposium on July 1st and 2nd. He gave an illustration of the technologies being employed to ferment CO2 into PHA polymers. Our pilot plant is almost finished and in this month of July should become operational, we hope. Chemical risk of plastic packaging. This is not harmless. Plastics Europe always complains that plastic packaging would be discriminated against other packaging. Plastic is not comparable to other packaging and can therefore be treated differently. A massive plastic packaging tax is long overdue.
