🔥 Exciting news for the ANZ region! 🔥 We are thrilled to announce that we are continuing our growth path with the acquisition of the asset portfolio from Sydney-based Maia Financial Pty Limited. This portfolio, valued at approximately AUD $500 million (€300 million), includes leased IT, healthcare, and industrial assets. 🌍 Today is World Environment Day! In an era of increasing environmental awareness, promoting and supporting sustainable practices across all industries is more important than ever. A key starting point is the transition from a linear to a circular economy, which can help to reduce Co2-emissions significantly. The IT sector is a prime example of this. Many people do not realize that IT hardware contributes significantly to the overall emissions of some industries. 🔄 What does this mean? By using IT instead of owning it, companies can regularly update their technological equipment without turning old devices into electronic waste. Instead, these devices are reused, significantly reducing waste and the need for new raw materials. 💪 What can we do? CHG-MERIDIAN, a pioneer of the circular economy since 1979, has been continually expanding its expertise in this area over the past 45 years. One key figure highlights our impact: In 2023 alone, 895,000 IT lease returns were remarketed through our Technology Centers and partners and given a second life cycle. Balancing work and life Daniel Talhadas prioritizes family, volunteering as a Scout Leader, and supporting a local food waste reduction charity. 🚀 We are now driving the age of use!   It's official! Our new annual corporate figures confirms that we've fully entered the age of use. It's no longer a question of if, but how. Our figures show once again that leasing, rental, and as-a-service models based on the circular economy are resilient and future-proof.   Despite a challenging environment of geopolitical crises, rising global interest rates, and persistent inflation, the CHG-MERIDIAN Group achieved solid growth in lease originations. In 2023, the volume climbed to €2.45 billion - up 9.9% from the previous year. Our managed technology portfolio also hit a new all-time high with assets worth €10 billion.   This indicates that more companies than ever are embracing the principle of using over ownership, and that modern sustainable usage models, such as those we have been offering for 45 years, continue to gain ground.   💪 We'd like to take the opportunity to say thank you to all our colleagues, customers, partners, and investors - and also issue a call to action: Let's drive the age of use together and make the most of its potential!   Want to know how?
