Kick-off for our expert group on the approval process of medical AI devices!   As part of the cross-cluster project AI in medical technology, we aim to develop guidance for implementing the regulations introduced by the European AI Act while enabling innovation. For this, we have assembled a diverse group of experts from the fields of law, medicine, and AI.   In today’s first meeting, we explored needs, uncertainties, and initial proposals with our experts, which will form the foundation of an upcoming whitepaper. Last Friday, Jonas shared our vision of enabling MedTech companies to bring medical devices to market years faster through regulatory automation at the ᴍᴇᴅ-ᴅᴇᴠ KickOff Meetup at Google's Munich office. After the pitch, we discussed regulatory complaints and how to make life easier for QAs, QMs and entire regulated companies.
