“The ages of 11 to 16 are fantastically important.” Next week, OCR and Cambridge University Press & Assessment will publish #StrikingTheBalance, offering bold and pragmatic ideas for the future of secondary education in England. Former Education Secretary Charles Clarke chaired the review, which involved hundreds of schools, colleges, teachers, students and experts. The full report is out next Wednesday, 4 September.

You've heard of Generation Z, but have you heard of 'Generation T'? 🧳✈️ Our #CambridgeDictionary defines 'Generation T' as a way of referring to the group of people who were born in the early 2000s and who spend a lot of their free time travelling and going on holiday. With 18-24-year-olds set to be the most prolific travellers in 2024, ABTA – The Travel Association has dubbed this age group as 'Generation T' due to their enthusiasm for travel, with almost three-quarters of them planning to travel overseas in the next 12 months.
