Säälchen: The Heart of Our Festival Hub at Holzmarkt 25! Thinking about hosting your own big partner programme at the Berlin Science Week Culture & Science Forum? The "Säälchen" has been a major centrepiece of last year’s festival, hosting a variety of Berlin Science Week events. The Säälchen offers: - Capacity: 230 seated, 600 total, 8m ceiling height, and a mezzanine on the first floor with a clear view of the stage, also usable for exhibitions and networking areas - Features: PA & lighting system, beamer, backstage area, networking zones, bar, and full production service - Optional Connection: Expand your event with the Salöön, located on the first floor and reachable directly from the mezzanine. While our Call for Participation for Berlin Science Week is in full swing, we would like to draw your attention to this programme. It focuses on the interplay of science, art, and culture under the theme ‘Common Ground’ and will be presented as a two-day event on 9-10 November at our Festival Hub FORUM at Holzmarkt 25. The invited programme is designed to support contributions from individual scientists, artists, creative minds, and smaller initiatives. We seek exceptional contributions that challenge assumptions and influence public opinion through new transdisciplinary perspectives. Next Berlin Science Week Community Meetup: 4 June, 5 pm ! Building on the success of our fully booked Community Day on 7 May (thanks again to our partners, Archimedes Exhibitions GmbH and Berlin University Alliance for the great workshops), and requests for more events like this, we have decided to make this a regular. Starting from June, we will be offering monthly community meet-ups leading up to the festival. This is an invitation to you, our community, to connect and get to know us and each other – dreaming up exciting new Science Week events while enjoying a cold drink on the beautiful Falling Walls Foundation Rooftop Terrace.
