The remaining emissions will be neutralized, thus achieving net zero emissions. 📉 Current status: So far, we have managed to achieve an absolute 19% GHG emission reduction since 2018. 🌱💙 Breaking down our Net Zero target into tangible milestones is key to delivering progress and action. A huge shout-out to the team that made this possible! 👏 As Isabell Niggemann from Procurement said, “Integrating 80% recycled aluminum is a game-changer — using recycled materials significantly reduces energy consumption and benefits our planet.” A big thank you to our fantastic project team: martin wehmann, Thomas Kasten, Paula Tiedemann, Isabell Niggemann, Philip Helm, Selma van den Dolder, Holger Dede, Morgane Deleuze, and Andreas Fliss. Beiersdorf Ecuador celebrated Care Beyond Skin Day in collaboration with Plan International, during this day we visited a school to paint classrooms improving the spaces where students learn and live together on a daily basis and we create a mural which represent our committed to creating meaningful impact. We planted different types of flora to decorate the school's gardens and green areas, thus promoting a more natural and welcoming environment. This initiative not only sought to improve the school's physical facilities, but also to foster a sense of community and care for the environment. The collaboration between Beiersdorf Ecuador and Plan International is an example of how social commitment and teamwork can have a positive impact on the education and well-being of young people. Together, we're transferring our purpose into action, making a real difference for people and the environment.
