They ensured that all the necessary tools and resources were provided early, making the transition seamless. The team's support and responsiveness helped clarify any doubts, fostering a sense of confidence from day one. Their organized approach made the onboarding process both efficient and enjoyable. What stood out to me? We received top-tier equipment (laptop, software subscriptions, and accessories). The device was fully set up, thanks to the automation process setup implemented by the Employee Tech and Application Platform teams. As a result, I was productive right from the beginning. We spoke with 24-year-old Mirko Marabelli, Hybrid Sales Consultant at AutoScout24 Italy, to learn more about his experiences, challenges, and what motivates him in the evolving sales world. ❓How do you see the role of Gen Z in the future of the sales industry? 💬In my opinion, Gen Z will transform the sales industry with their tech-savviness and unique communication style. Gen Z will bring an innovative, tech-driven approach and value to sales. The future of the industry will increasingly be tied to digital strategies, data utilization, and the necessity of creating authentic relationships with customers. This generation has already changed the traditional sales method. Today, in addition to classic face-to-face sales, there are new communication channels, such as social media, which have been used as sales channels for several years. These platforms allow for live selling with active users or function passively like a marketplace. ❓What strategies do you use to build and maintain relationships with clients, especially in a digital-first world? 💬To maintain strong relationships with customers, I believe it's essential to personalize interactions, communicate across multiple platforms, and provide quick support. Every time we engage with a customer, we need to create ongoing value in the conversation so that they are more inclined to listen to us. Customers should see us not merely as salespeople, but as trusted advisors who can recommend the best strategies to grow their business. ❓Can you describe a typical day in your role as a Hybrid Sales Consultant? 💬A typical day is dynamic and varied. It begins with planning the day, followed by calls to both prospective and former clients. Two days a week, I visit dealerships to present offers and provide training on how to use the platform. At the end of the day, I record the activities completed. My main responsibilities include managing customer relationships, achieving sales goals, and analyzing market trends. ❓If you could have dinner with any three people, dead or alive, who would they be and why? 💬Kobe Bryant, because he represents not only an icon of basketball but also an example of dedication, hard work, and a winning mindset. Rafael Leão, because he is my favorite player and embodies the energy and talent of modern soccer.
