Info
Creating a replica of the world, to support safer and faster development of highly automated driving: Onboard your vehicle into our intelligent simulation environment, to efficiently challenge and train it over millions of virtual miles. Founded 2017 in Berlin, Automotive Artificial Intelligence (AAI) GmbH is here to help you accelerate your highly automated and autonomous driving software development. In our intelligent simulation environment, AAI ReplicaR, it is possible to test the boundaries of your autonomous driving software in highly customizable test configurations. Programmable traffic situations and road conditions are simulated in realistic environments that have been created based on high definition street maps. Today a virtual vehicle only needs eight hours to travel the same distance that would take a real-world car more than one month. Our aim is to further widen this gap - by increasing the simulation speed and scaling. The precise reproducibility of all incidents as well as the reduced testing time are the key advantages for our customers.

🚗 The Shift in the German Automotive Industry: Navigating the Future 🚗 The German automotive landscape is undergoing a seismic shift. As the industry pivots from combustion engines to electric and digital technologies, traditional suppliers like Bosch Continental and ZF Group are facing unprecedented challenges. 🔍 The Transformation Challenge These giants, once thriving on the combustion engine, are now striving to reinvent themselves as leaders in software. However, this transition is far from seamless: • In-House Software Development: Automakers are keen on mastering software in-house, reducing reliance on traditional suppliers. For example initiatives lile CARIAD & MBition. • Tech Giants’ Dominance: When outsourcing, manufacturers often turn to established tech players like NVIDIA and Huawei leaving German suppliers in the lurch. • The Role of Suppliers: In key technologies such as automated driving, German suppliers are often relegated to middleware or secondary systems. 💡 Future Focus With the core automotive technologies shifting, German suppliers must rethink their strategies. Should they continue to push for a foothold in software, or pivot to other emerging areas within the industry? Your Thoughts? Do you believe German automotive suppliers can succeed in the software domain, or should they explore new business avenues? If so, which areas hold the most promise? #automotive #adas #sdv #AI
