Anvajo GmbH, a spin-off diagnostic company from Dresden University of Technology, is a developer and manufacturer of point-of-care solutions for the diagnostic testing of liquids. After six years of research, the anvajo team has developed a portable device for point-of-care fluid analysis that has the potential to be used in a wide variety of industries. The anvajo "fluidlab" combines two central laboratory technologies: 1. Spectroscopy and 2. Microscopy in one portable diagnostic device. The performance of each test is supported by a customly designed sample carrier system that functions in processing and delivering the fluid to the analyzer. The fluidlab system is highly applicable in all fields of science and has many uses in human and veterinary medicine, food and feed analysis and environmental and water analysis. In veterinary and human medicine, for example, the device can be used to carry out quick diagnostic testing of blood, urine and/or sperm instantly at the point-of-need.

Last week we were thrilled to welcome members of the ZEISS Group, especially CEO Dr. Karl Lamprecht, and Managing Directors of ZEISS Digital Innovation, Alfred Mönch and Peter Amend at anvajo. This visit was a fantastic opportunity to showcase our cutting-edge technologies and processes through a production and product tour. The visit was filled with sharing our latest innovations and insights into our point-of-care-technology. With ZEISS Digital Innovation, we have also found a great partner in the close neighborhood of our office in Dresden, who has been supporting us in areas of software development since last year. Hello from dynamic Asia! 🌏🎌 I carried the #fluidlab with me on my journey to Japan, Korea, and Taiwan, accompanied by our esteemed partners in #biotech🦠 and #veterinary🐾. During our time in Japan, we delved into the potential applications of our vet fluidlab 1, exploring opportunities for its integration into veterinary clinics. Engaging with our partner Waken BTech in Kyoto and Tokyo was incredibly insightful, especially visiting the first fluidlab R-300 user in Japan. The feedback and enthusiasm provided invaluable insights into the market landscape. Transitioning to Korea, our visit to WMeditech in Seoul and Gangneung was fruitful, culminating in customer visits and test installations. The highlight was undoubtedly our interview with our inaugural customer, providing invaluable market insights. In #KoreaLabExhibition, with Bioand, we engaged in fruitful discussions about the exciting prospects of our fluidlab R-300 in the Korean market. It was a great opportunity to network and explore potential collaborations. Additionally, in Taiwan, thanks to PetEnJoy, we gained invaluable insights into the veterinary market, including a visit to a premier customer and clinic. We emphasized the importance of urine analysis in smaller practices. Lastly, I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional hospitality I experienced during my stay. The personal interactions have not only enriched my understanding of the local culture but also exposed me to the diverse culinary delights of this region. It has been a true pleasure to gather so many impressions firsthand and to connect with the people locally.
