Together with our Sister company M.TEC ENGINEERING GmbH Stefan Vogler we developed a material card for our AKROMID U28 ICF 40 to simulate the 3D printing process and structural performance. The team of Michael Rieck created even data sets about the prediction of distortion and printed with YIZUMI Germany GmbH See the video showing two 300g printed part of our bio-based nylon 11 with 40% recycled carbon fiber (1,6 kg CO2 eqv for the compound) carying the weight of half the car. #3dprinting #additivemanufacturing

Auf der PIAE - Plastics in Automotive Engineering haben @sebastian thompson von Sogefi Group und AKRO-PLASTIC GmbH ein Thermostatventil für den Porsche Taycan nebst angewandten Schweißverfahren vorgestellt. Dieses Bauteil hat nun auch den 2. Platz im Bereich Anwendungen New Mobility beim AutomotiveAward gewonnen. Ich freue mich ihnen dieses Bauteil aus #Akrotek PK im Video nochmals kurz zu erklären.

What a night! No, we don't mean the one yesterday (although we liked that too!⚽ ). We are talking about the 22nd Automotive Awards for parts & components, which took place on Friday evening at the fantastic location Kameha Grand Bonn. Together with our friends and partners, we were able to take home some of the coveted prizes. We were particularly pleased to receive the Grand award 🏆 , which we received together with Hans Weber Maschinenfabrik GmbH. Accelerating the transition to a more sustainable plastics industry and economy requires a culture of collaboration and sharing of insights, best practices, and innovations. It’s crucial to collectively drive this transformative shift. Therefore, it was a great opportunity to participate in AKRO-PLASTIC GmbH’s 15th KUNSTSTOFF-DIA(hr)LOG with the theme “VALUABLE in all areas” - an event that brought together different actors within the plastics industry. 💡🤝 We sent our dynamic duo Christian Kimer and Nanna Milian-Thaulow to present our technology and some of the insights we have gained as a closed-loop recycling enabler. Our approach to this theme was encapsulated in our presentation, "Too valuable to waste" - emphasizing the achievement of the highest level of value retention in recycling through effective sorting of material mixes, intended to re-enter the loop from which they originated. We also gained valuable perspectives from other industry actors, who shared their experiences and insights. A common thread in all the attendees was the shared commitment to advancing the plastics industry responsibly. 🌍♻️ This collaborative spirit is crucial for driving innovation and sustainability across the sector. Am Samstag, den 22. Juni war ich beim Schulfest der Brohltalschule in Niederzissen anlässlich des 50-jährigen Bestehens. Wir gratulieren von Herzen und bedanken uns bei Schulleiter Timo Djelassi für die Einladung zu dem gelungenen Event! 👏 Dort haben Ausbilder Michael See, meine Kollege Collin Heinrich und ich die AKRO als Ausbildungsunternehmen vorgestellt und viele spannende Gespräche mit Schülerinnen und Schülern, Eltern und Lehrenden geführt. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich, wie die Brohltalschule mit Jobfux Karlheinz Bolz eine qualifizierte Berufsorientierung für die Abschlussjahrgänge anbietet. Auch über den Besuch von Petra Schneider, Mitglied des Landtages Rheinlad-Pfalz, Johannes Bell, Bürgermeister Verbandsgemeinde Brohltal und Ralf Doll, 1. Beigeordneter Ortsgemeinde Niederzissen, an unseren Stand haben wir uns sehr gefreut. Für uns bei AKRO ist das Thema Ausbildung eine Herzensangelegenheit💙, wir bieten viele spannende Ausbildungsberufe an und übernehmen unsere Azubis bei entsprechender Eignung gerne!
