Blue carbon  ‘Blue Carbon refers to carbon captured by ocean and coastal ecosystems. Such ecosystems include seagrasses, mangroves and salt marshes. The latest policy brief analyses how Africa’s private sector can leverage geopolitical funds to increase their participation in trade infrastructure development. The piece underscores the criticality of infrastructure in bolstering economic growth on the continent, and the pivotal role the AfCFTA can play.
