Eye of None

'Eye of None' is a relaxed platformer in which the player manoeuvres an eye-like creature through a handcrafted landscape. A world long forgotten by the ancient society which once roamed these lands. Various environmental hazards will challenge you to anticipate your movement and safely steer the character to its' final destination.

• Created as part of a game jam, but never submitted
• First ever game development project for the creators

Created by two lifelong best friends, this game was kicked off as part of the Brackeys Game Jam 2024.1. However, we never submitted the project, as we ran out of time. Literally everything in this project was a 'first' for us, so unsurprisingly we underestimated how long it would take us to complete it.

Despite being exhausted, we decided that we liked the concept too much to just shelve it. And so we made it into an extended learning project, testing everything from having a splash screen,  main menu,  gameplay loop, health and collectible system, scene management to credits and everything in between.

The result?  A lovingly handcrafted short demo, which we are proud to be able to share with you all.
