Phantom flags
redigérSorry, but I cannot write fluent Danish. You reverted my edits and put a warning on my user page. As I explained in detail at the Commons image description pages (commons:File:Ryukyu Islands flag 1875-1879.svg#As a Wikipedia hoax, commons:File:Ryukyu Islands flag 1875-1879 cs.svg#As a Wikipedia hoax and commons:File:Flag of Ryukyu.svg#As a Wikipedia hoax), there are no sources that prove that these phantom flags were ever officially designated as flags of any polity in history. Wikipedia has been a powerful source of misinformation, and I am currently working on fixing it at multiple Wikipedias. --Nanshu (diskussion) 3. apr 2015, 15:34 (CEST)
- I need some time to read around the subject in order to confirm or reject your mission. In the meantime, please do not make any edits. I suggest that you visit this talk site in the next month for further information. --Kontoreg(Henvendelse) 3. apr 2015, 20:53 (CEST)
- I am not in a hurry. I got suspicious about the flags years ago and decided to dig into the problem several months ago. Why can I not wait for a weak, a month or more? But keep in mind that the burden of proof is not on me but on those who want to keep the flags. I am new to Danish Wikipedia but I am sure that it is no different from other Wikipedias in that verifiability is one of their core policies. --Nanshu (diskussion) 4. apr 2015, 17:14 (CEST)
