As Equilibrium is in full swing and our Mentoring pairs are actively engaging in sessions and attending events, we are beyond grateful to introduce the Mentors of the 14th Edition of our Women’s Mentoring Programme! Some Mentors have been with us for several years and we’re thrilled to welcome 47 new Mentors this year! 🌟 This year, we’re excited to share that we have Mentoring pairs not only in Prague but also in Ostrava, Brno, and now in Bratislava, where 15 pairs are meeting in person. Yesterday, we kicked off the first event of this season’s My Story series with an incredible session featuring Violeta Luca, CEO of Vodafone Czech Republic. 🌟The event took place at the beautiful Art Nouveau Palace Hotel Prague, creating the perfect setting for an inspiring conversation. Violeta shared her fascinating career journey, from working in sales, marketing, and retail to leading in the telecommunications industry today. She spoke passionately about her many dreams, the importance of building trust, and how art serves as a source of inspiration in her life. She also emphasized the significance of staying curious, lifelong learning, and how our families shape who we are as individuals. Above all, she reminded us that she considers herself human first, a manager second – a philosophy that deeply resonated with many. We are incredibly grateful to Violeta for sharing her wisdom and experiences with such openness. A big thank you to our audience as well, for being so proactive and asking insightful questions. This year, unlike previous years, we hosted two in-person Mentees' Essentials sessions due to the overwhelming interest from our Mentees. We are thrilled to see their passion and commitment! 🎉 These workshops, led by our valued Steering Committee member Kristin LaRonca Parpel, were filled with inspiring discussions, practical tools, and mutual learning to help our Mentees confidently start their mentoring journey. Now, they are fully equipped to reach out to their Mentors and make the most of this invaluable relationship. Yesterday, on October 1st, we hosted an insightful and interactive online session, "Mentees Essentials," led by the fantastic Kristin LaRonca Parpel! 🙌 Kristin delivered an engaging presentation that guided participants through discovering their own authentic mentoring style and fully preparing for their journey as a Mentee. 📈 The workshop included interactive discussions, giving attendees valuable insights into their roles in the mentoring programme. Although originally tailored for Mentees, we were thrilled to have Mentors join as well, making it an enriching experience for everyone involved! Yesterday, we officially launched the 14th Equilibrium Mentoring Programme by British Chamber of Commerce in the Czech Republic at the beautiful Rytířská Palace of Česká spořitelna. It was a welcoming gathering where Mentors, Mentees, and all other #Equilibrium enthusiasts came together to connect and collaborate in an atmosphere filled with positivity and engagement. Our dedicated Steering Committee and the Equilibrium Team shared valuable insights, laying a solid foundation for our mentoring pairs as they embark on their journey together. The Charity Partner of the evening was Diakonie ČCE, and thanks to your generous contributions during our charity raffle, we raised over 32,000 CZK for those affected by recent floods. 🙏🏼 We also appreciate our Beauty Partner, Coty, for adding a touch of glamour to the event with their stunning beauty stands. With an exciting peer-to-peer game, delicious catering, and valuable raffle prizes, the atmosphere was electric! Thank you to everyone who joined us—your participation makes Equilibrium truly special. The journey of Mentoring has just begun, and we can't wait to see  the incredible impact it will have!
