📢 Press release: ADAPT project comes to an end after four important and productive years of potato research The ADAPT project (“Accelerated Development of multiple-stress tolerAnt PoTato”), is today officially coming to an end. 🌱 Exciting News from Lublin University, Poland! 🌱 Recently, we completed training on the newly installed PlantScreen™ Modular System at Lublin University, and it's now fully operational, ready to support cutting-edge plant research. This advanced system, located in the greenhouse, offers a capacity of 616 trays for high-throughput plant phenotyping. Key features include: -RGB morphometric station (top and side views) 📸 -Chlorophyll fluorescence station 🌿 -3D scanning station -VNIR and SWIR hyperspectral cameras -Two cultivation areas (308 trays each) with highly versatile watering and weighing units in each area 💧 -Integrated spraying unit for flexible plant treatment 🌾 The system is optimized for plants up to 150 cm in height and 50 cm in width, making it versatile for various research needs. Update from Hainan Island, the southernmost point of China! The PlantScreen™ Modular System is now fully functional, and users from Hainan University have been trained on how to use the system. The system has a capacity of 72 trays and features a dark adaptation tunnel and imaging compartments designed for large plants. 🌱 With this system, we have been phenotyping coconut seedlings and coconut fruits. 🥥 #PlantScreenSystem #Phenotyping #HainanIsland #Training
