#Magnetically #Controlled #Shunt #Reactors (#MCSR) We are excited to present an interesting article in #Transformers-magazine. These are interesting non-rotating #electrical #machines that we have been in trouble-free operation since 2010. They work in severe climatic conditions with ambient temperatures of -60°C. #ETD Following on from the previous post on the transformer 50MVA, 110/5.8/5.8/5.8kV, 50Hz, Yd5d5d5, ODWF LI550/AC230. In August, a #heating #test was successfully performed, during which our design of controlled oil distribution was verified. #Optical temperature measurement confirmed the same temperature in each layer and coil. Subsequently, the transformer successfully passed #voltage tests and the design of the entire #insulation #system was verified. Currently, the transformer is being put into operation at the end customer. More information about this project will follow. 🍀 Great job #ETD team.
