Have you heard of Nature-Based Enterprises (NBE)? 🧐 What is the role of NBE in delivering NBS?🤔 Nature-based enterprises are not a new phenomenon and yet there is still little recognition of such a concept. 🌿 👉 In simple terms NBE are businesses and organisations working with and for nature in the delivery of nature-based solutions to address climate change and biodiversity challenges. 👉They can have different forms, including social enterprises, as they are often driven by both an environmental and a social mission. GREEN GENERATIONS 🌿🌟 Greetings Green Generations Enthusiasts! 🌟🌿 👩🏫👨🏫 Calling all Teachers, Educators, School Principals, School Staff, Parents, and Young Students! 👩🎓👨🎓 We are thrilled to share some exciting updates from our Green Generations project! 🌍🌱 🌟 Six European partners from Romania, France, Bulgaria, Greece, and Cyprus have united to revolutionize climate change education through intergenerational learning. Together, we're empowering young learners to develop new skills, voice their ideas, and lead projects to tackle climate change with the support of their teachers, parents, and community. 📚 Current Focus: Finalizing WP3: GreenGenerations Curriculum📚 Here's a sneak peek at what's coming: 1. GreenGenerations at School 📘: Innovative lesson plans to help schools go green! From planting trees to creating vegetable gardens, students will train teachers and ensure sustainable practices are in place. 2. GreenGenerations at Home 🏡: Smart ways to build a sustainable home! This event provided a valuable opportunity to connect, learn, and get inspired together, supporting new mothers on their journey towards education and employment. 🎉 Animatopedia Webinar Success! 🎉 On Thursday 18th July, we held our Animatopedia webinar as part of our Erasmus -funded project. The webinar aimed to prevent and redirect sex-based discrimination and (sexual) harassment through innovative educational content for youth. We had a fantastic turnout with more than 50 participants who enjoyed the presentations and screenings of our 8 educational videos. Together, we're promoting gender equality, combating sexism, and supporting vulnerable groups, including women, migrants, refugees, and the LGBTQIA community. [Activism Against Ableism] The Final Conference and the Final Project Meeting of the ERASMUS KA2 Activism Against Ableism (AAA) Project took place on July 9th in Bonn, Germany.
