Regular exercise is good for body and mind. Aiming for at least 150 minutes of moderate-intense aerobic activity per week, as well as strength training exercises at least twice a week is recommended in order to stay healthy and focused. Taking a break to move around, whether on board or ashore, could ease the mind and relax the body. Incorporate activities like walking or swimming to your routine, practice stretching exercises to maintain flexibility and include balance exercises to prevent falls and injuries. By staying active you will strengthen your heart and improve circulation, maintain a healthy weight, strengthen your bones and ensure your body is more resilient to infections and disease.
