The Silent Pilgrimage - Demo

A demo version of the intro section of an rpg I'm developing. It takes inspiration from both classic-style Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest in its aesthetics and overall design.

This is very much a work-in-progress so feedback would be appreciated.

For the battle system, I'm basing its limited use of animations on the classic Dragon Quest-style, where player attacks are visible but enemy attacks are only described. This is deliberate as a throwback and also for ease of development since creating unique animations for the various enemy attacks might take an eternity (I'm solo on this project, so all the art is crafted by me).

Extra credits go to the RPG Maker dlc which I used for music and the various Yanfly MV plugins I utilized, especially the "battle status window" plugin.

Hopefully I'll actually have this game finished at some point!
