(Silo Pharma Secures Exclusive Global License for Alzheimer's Therapeutic)

전통적인 치료제와 환각 치료제를 위한 새로운 제형과 약물 전달 시스템 개발에 주력하는 개발 단계 바이오 제약 회사인 Silo Pharma, Inc.가 알츠하이머 치료제 SPC-14의 추가 개발, 제조 및 상용화를 위한 글로벌 독점 라이선스 계약을 체결했다고 오늘 발표했습니다.

Silo는 SPC-14의 임상 일정을 단축하고 신약 개발 비용을 절감할 수 있는 FDA의 간소화된 505(b)(2) 경로를 활용할 계획입니다.

SPC-14는 알츠하이머병의 인지 및 신경정신과적 증상을 치료하기 위해 글루타메이트 수용체 NDMAR과 세로토닌 4형 수용체 5HT4를 표적으로 하는 새로운 치료제입니다. 최근의 소동물 전임상 연구에서 SPC-14는 학습된 무력감, 끈질긴 행동, 불안의 척도인 저식욕증을 약화시키는 LH(황체 형성 호르몬) 스트레스에 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났습니다.

Silo Pharma, Inc. (Nasdaq: SILO) (“Silo” or the “Company”), a developmental stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing novel formulations and drug delivery systems for traditional therapeutics and psychedelic treatments, today announced that it has entered into an exclusive global license agreement to further develop, manufacture, and commercialize its Alzheimer’s drug SPC-14.

Silo intends to utilize the FDA’s streamlined 505(b)(2) pathway for SPC-14, which would shorten clinical timelines and reduce drug development costs.

​

SPC-14 is a novel therapeutic that targets glutamate receptor NDMAR and serotonin type 4 receptor 5HT4 to treat cognitive and neuropsychiatric symptoms in Alzheimer’s disease. In the latest small animal preclinical study, SPC-14 was effective against LH (luteinizing hormone) stress in attenuating learned helplessness, perseverative behavior, and hyponeophagia, a measure of anxiety.
