must have missed that tutorial ..
"lets start by planting some weed" was literally all the tutorial we ever got...

We ask to stop any future comments or replies about any politics about the housing economy and such! The intention of our game was not political at all, just a fun game about plants and cities! If there are anymore comments about that and not on the game itself, we will delete it. Thank you!

Since I'm not being allowed to rate this game I'll rate it here... two stars and that's with the tutorial. The tutorial is too limited and I've little idea what I'm supposed to do and no idea of the mechanics. It seems  like this has also been play tested by people who are too good at the game compared to first timers meaning the difficulty curve is near impossible... just my impression, but I'm just a clueless newbie... but then that's kinda the point.

Some houses refuse to be planted on unless other houses are planted on first. It's very confusing.

NVM. The houses themselves are unplantable to begin with.

Can't plant on some houses. In the third block I could not plant on one and the remaining ones stopped conversion at some point which made the level unwinnable. As I couldn't leave the block this meant a soft lock.

Stop promoting NIMBYism. Remember, green belts cause housing crises! People before plants!

uhhh, do you know what NIMBYism is?

Probably not.

Lack of houses by a construction industry that has been doing for years what the car industry has been doing over the last two is what causes a lack of housing stock. Capitalism is the problem since more money can be made with the same resources if you build expensive houses that people invest in (rather than live in) and there is never a lack of investment because house prices go up because there is so much demand and so little supply of REASONABLY priced housing that people have to rent and so landlords make all the money that can continue to drive up house prices that construction companies have no incentive to make small profits from affordable housing and instead rack up huge profits from unaffordable housing. Just like the car industry did in the US over the last couple of years... why make small profits from cheap cars when high profits from fewer expensive cars more than make up for it... and then people have to buy more expensive cars because cars is not a luxury in the USA, it is a necessity, like housing, and the only reason that this continues is because people seem willing to continue to buy more and more expensive cars!?!? Ditto houses... at least rich people... and who cares about the poor, certainly not the government *sigh*

Capitalist economics 101.

uh what do i do

We've updated the game with a tutorial now!

One that doesn't explain how to stop your plants being removed by the anti-plant brigade... also why was I on a large map and then suddenly through into one block of it? And not getting the benefit of plants I'D planted in other blocks... it meant it was impossible to beat the anti-plant people...
