Reminder: Community Insights Survey
[edit]Share your experience in this survey
Hi RMaung (WMF),
A couple of weeks ago, we invited you to take the Community Insights Survey. It is the Wikimedia Foundation’s annual survey of our global communities. We want to learn how well we support your work on wiki. We are 10% towards our goal for participation. If you have not already taken the survey, you can help us reach our goal! Your voice matters to us.
Please take 15 to 25 minutes to give your feedback through this survey. It is available in various languages.
This survey is hosted by a third-party and governed by this privacy statement (in English).
Find more information about this project. Email us if you have any questions, or if you don't want to receive future messages about taking this survey.
Sincerely,
RMaung (WMF) 14:26, 20 September 2019 (UTC)
- Hi RMaung, sorry but I have no time at the moment, may be after 1st of October, best regards, --PjotrMahh1 (talk) 18:11, 20 September 2019 (UTC)
Spam
[edit]Single message about community survey is OK. Repeating it is getting spammy.
In case that would reoccur I will likely disable mail notifications about messages on my talk pages, I am not interested in spammy notifications. Mateusz Konieczny (talk) 16:01, 20 September 2019 (UTC)
- Hi Mateusz Konieczny, I will make sure you don't hear from us about taking this survey again! RMaung (WMF) (talk) 21:38, 20 September 2019 (UTC)

Survey of course
[edit]re your reminder. I completed this when invited. Didn't you get it or are you just spamming everybody. Johnbod (talk) 16:58, 20 September 2019 (UTC)
- Thank you for letting me know Johnbod! The survey link is anonymous, so I don't know who has completed the survey unless you let me know. I'll make sure you don't hear from us about taking this survey again! RMaung (WMF) (talk) 21:41, 20 September 2019 (UTC)
And still another complaint about "Reminder: Community Insights Survey"
[edit]I did the survey several days ago. Most of the subjects that it covered are neither known to me nor interesting. If I had understood that when I started, I would not have done it. I should add that I am one of the most active users on Commons, as an Admin, Bureaucrat, and Checkuser.
I am also surprised that the survey does not prevent me from taking it twice, provided, of course, I lie in my answer to the first question. Anyone who really cares about its subjects could easily load it with their own bias with a bot.
And, as noted above, it's not good to remind people to do something they have already done. It makes you look dumb and them less likely to cooperate with such requests in the future.
. Jim . . . (Jameslwoodward) (talk to me) 18:50, 20 September 2019 (UTC)
- Hello Jameslwoodward, thank you for your time and feedback! The survey link you received is an anonymous one, so we have no way to know who has and has not completed the survey. I will make sure you do not receive a talkpage message about taking this survey again. It is possible that someone could take the survey more than once, but this small possibility is a trade-off for maintaining users' anonymity when completing the survey. Again, we appreciate your time and effort! RMaung (WMF) (talk) 21:49, 20 September 2019 (UTC)
SPAM
[edit]I receive 1 message for Community Insights Survey and dir not reply. Now the 2nd one? Why this SPAM? I did not spend time and data for useless ideas and if I did not answer what does it means? Not happy --MAbW (talk) 12:21, 22 September 2019 (UTC)
- Thank you for letting me know that you do not wish to complete the survey, MAbW! I will make sure you don't receive any more messages on your talk page about this. --RMaung (WMF) (talk) 14:16, 23 September 2019 (UTC)

Reminders Community Insights Survey
[edit]Please stop sending me reminders. I filled in the survey but still continue to get reminders. In the future I would like to stop receiving questionnaires. Wouter (talk) 20:51, 3 October 2019 (UTC)
- @Wouterhagens: Thank you so much for your time and feedback! Because the survey is anonymous, we don't know who has completed it unless they let us know. I'll make sure you don't receive further messages! Thank you again. --RMaung (WMF) (talk) 20:54, 3 October 2019 (UTC)
I came here to complain about multiple prods to take a survey I already completed, only to find that you proded yourself 10 times! Thanks. Hyacinth (talk) 00:40, 4 October 2019 (UTC)
- Hi @Hyacinth: Because the survey links are anonymous, we don't know who has taken the survey unless they let us know. Thank you so much for your time and feedback! I'll make sure you don't receive any further messages about taking the survey. --RMaung (WMF) (talk) 14:29, 4 October 2019 (UTC)
Please stop spam with "Community Insights Survey" notifications
[edit]Please stop spam with "Community Insights Survey" notifications. You did it triple time and I have no idea why you are proceeding again and again (second, third times). --Movses (talk) 07:46, 4 October 2019 (UTC)
- Hi @Movses: Thank you for letting me know! I'll make sure you don't receive any more messages about taking the survey. --RMaung (WMF) (talk) 14:39, 4 October 2019 (UTC)

Reminders
[edit]I took the survey at the first invitation (and it took way more than 15 minutes). Why do you keep spamming my userpage? --Ailura (talk) 08:14, 5 October 2019 (UTC)
- Hello @Ailura: We don't know who has taken the survey because the links are anonymous. Thank you very much for your time and feedback, and my apologies for the unnecessary messages! You won't receive any more messages about taking the survey. --RMaung (WMF) (talk) 16:07, 7 October 2019 (UTC)
- Maybe you should better reconsider spamming generally. --Ailura (talk) 09:46, 8 October 2019 (UTC)
Change on File:2020 CI Executive Summary.pdf
[edit]Hello,
While having a look at c:File:2020 CI Executive Summary.pdf, I noticed that the new version you uploaded on July 15th is not the full page anymore but only part of it. I guess you wanted to reupload the whole document. Could you have a look? Thanks :) Lea Lacroix (WMDE) (talk) 06:35, 29 July 2020 (UTC)
- @Lea Lacroix (WMDE): Thanks for letting me know! The correct file has been uploaded. RMaung (WMF) (talk) 15:00, 29 July 2020 (UTC)
