Witam.

Nazywam się Tomasz Kosior. Jestem studentem III roku studiów stacjonarnych w Wyższej Szkole Informatyki i Zarządzania w Bielsku-Białej.

Leinad 14:14, 7 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Myślę, że należałoby stworzyć nowe podkategorie w ramach kategorii Category:Maps of Poland - a jak dalej to podzielić to chyba Ty jesteś obeznany najlepiej :)) IMHO O ile dobrze widzę, to stworzyłeś mapy makroregionów i mezoregionów, tak więc wydaje mi się że właściwy podział na kategorie to Category:Maps of Poland => Category:Macroregions of Poland => utworzenie poszczególnych kategorii z nazwami makroregionów i przypisanie do nich odpowiednich map. There seems to be a problem regarding the description and/or licensing of this particular file. It has been found that you've added in the image's description only a Template that's not a license and although it provides useful informations about the image, it's not a valid license. Could you please resolve this problem, adding the license in the image linked above? You can edit the description page and change the text. Uploading a new version of the file does not change the description of the file. This page may give you more hints on which license to choose. Thank you.

Pozdrawiam --Entereczek (talk) 17:08, 19 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Witam serdecznie. Jestem w trakcie pisania pracy dyplomowej, chciałabym wykorzystać serię map zamieszczonych w Wikimedii z uwzględnieniem praw autorskich, jednak potrzebne jest pełnobrzmiące nazwisko i imię autora.

Hello, Qqerim!
Tip: Add categories to your files
Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]
[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Thanks again for your uploads! More information about categorization can be found in Commons:Categories, and don't hesitate to leave a note on the help desk.

Zgłoszono dwa błędy [1][2] na tej ilustracji. Przeczytaj i może popraw? Pozdr. Mulat (talk) 10:18, 23 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading Physico-Geographical Regionalization of Poland.png! Did you know that Wikimedia Commons recommends the SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) format for certain types of images? Scalable Vector Graphics are designed to look appropriate at any scale, and SVG images are easier to modify and translate, helping Wikimedia to distribute knowledge to all of the world. A lot of modern programs support SVG export. If you encountered problems or have questions, don't hesitate to ask me, a member of the Graphic Lab, or the Graphics village pump. Uploading images in SVG format isn't mandatory, but it would help. (To avoid any misunderstandings, please don't just put raster images into an SVG container as embedded raster.) Thanks, and happy editing!
