Nie ma znaczenia, czy obrazek jest bardzo zly; jesli cos da sie zidentifykowac - kategorie sie dodaje. Copyright status: File:FC09 Zack & Tifa.jpg
[edit]This media may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading File:FC09 Zack & Tifa.jpg. I notice that the file page either doesn't contain enough information about the license or it contains contradictory information about the license, so the copyright status is unclear.
If you created this file yourself, then you must provide a valid copyright tag. For example, you can tag it with {{self|GFDL|cc-by-sa-all}} to release it under the multi-license GFDL plus Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike All-version license or you can tag it with {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. (See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of license tags that you can use.) If you did not create the file yourself or if it is a derivative of another work that is possibly subject to copyright protection, then you must specify where you found it (e.g. usually a link to the web page where you got it), you must provide proof that it has a license that is acceptable for Commons (e.g. usually a link to the terms of use for content from that page), and you must add an appropriate license tag. If you did not create the file yourself and the specific source and license information is not available on the web, you must obtain permission through the VRT system and follow the procedure described there. Note that any unsourced or improperly licensed files will be deleted one week after they have been marked as lacking proper information, as described in criteria for deletion. If you have uploaded other files, please confirm that you have provided the proper information for those files, too. If you have any questions about licenses please ask at Commons:Village pump/Copyright or see our help pages. Thank you. |

Cosplay and models
[edit]This was discussed a while ago at w:Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Video_games/Archive_101#Are_professional_models_in_costumes_cosplaying.3F. The consensus was that when a professional model is portraying a character, they are also cosplaying. So yes, cosplaying can be a job. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus Talk 22:54, 21 January 2014 (UTC)
No, the job is "modeling" and possibly crafting costumes. Cosplay is a hobby activity. "Play" as in having fun. ("In psychology and ethology, play is a range of voluntary, intrinsically motivated activities normally associated with recreational pleasure and enjoyment.") --Niemti (talk) 23:15, 21 January 2014 (UTC)
So revert yourself. --Niemti (talk) 00:56, 22 January 2014 (UTC)
- The consensus, as I showed you, was against your interpretation. So, no. If you don't like it, feel free to restart the discussion. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus Talk 11:32, 22 January 2014 (UTC)
You showed me nothing.
the problem is that their not official promotions. that's what cosplay is about fanwork. so even if done competitively or for profit or for hobby, as long as the original creators/owners are not involved, its cosplay.Lucia Black (talk) 15:26, 12 November 2013 (UTC)
Agreed. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 05:13, 13 November 2013 (UTC)
See? --Niemti (talk) 11:41, 22 January 2014 (UTC)
- Are you saying that if we cannot identify what a given model may be portraying as it is not cosplay, but if we can ID it it is? I can agree to that.--Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus Talk 18:58, 22 January 2014 (UTC)
- I'm sying that "a company contacts model agency to hire model to represent their character" is, of course, not cosplay. (To which you "agreed" in the "consensus" thing.) Just like a guy hired by McDonalds to dress up a Ronald McDonald (or whatever is the name of this yellow clown thing) for their restaurant is not cosplay. Just like sports mascots are not cosplay. And so on.
--Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus Talk 02:54, 25 January 2014 (UTC)
- A to zostalo uzgodnione (przez ciebie): "as long as the original creators/owners are not involved". --Niemti (talk) 19:45, 25 January 2014 (UTC)
