Photo deletions
Hi Christian. I just noticed your alert that the images I've uploaded for both the Bob Corritore page and the Alex Dixon (blues) page will be deleted because of usage issues. Please be informed that both images were provided free of charge and license-free for public use by the subjects. The Corritore image is a publicity shot credited for Corritore by Marjani Viola Hawkins, his longtime girlfriend, and the Dixon image was taken by his wife, Melissa, and contributed with similar knowledge and agreement.

If you did not take the photos yourself we requires a free licensed source available on the web, and of course this source must be legitimate to give the free licenses. Commons - Media Sarch, new feedback round
Greetings,
I'm following up on a message from earlier in the year about the prototype development for Special:MediaSearch. Based on community feedback, the Structured Data team has developed some new features for Special:MediaSearch and are seeking another round of comments and discussions about the tool. Commons:Structured_data/Media_search is updated with details about the new features plus some other development information, and feedback is welcome on Commons talk:Structured_data/Media_search. Media Search works in any language, so the team would especially appreciate input around support for languages other than English. I look forward to reading about what you think. -- Keegan (WMF) (talk) 20:05, 23 September 2020 (UTC)

Jean-Marc Lajudie / Carnet de notes d'un batteur / ISBN : 978-2-9520376-8-6
Hello Christian Ferrer, I understand that you have unpublished the cover image of the book concerned. However, the publishing company that could give their consent closed in 2018 (https://www.societe.com/societe/mines-de-rien-498248665.html) without entrusting its catalog to another publishing company. This is why I proposed an image taken of which I am the author (carried out yesterday by myself) and which is a "composition" (staging of the work and a bookmark) and well obviously I assign the rights in accordance with the conditions of Wikipedia. There is no longer a new copy for sale (except used) of this book. Therefore, this image is not an advertising photo, it cannot be considered as possible raw material for re-exploitation by a third party prejudicial to the publishing company (which no longer exists). I have permission from the model (the author of the book, Jean-Marc Lajudie), the person in the photo used on the cover, and no way to contact the photographer who took the shot (who had ceded his rights to the publishing company to do the layout). Are you sure that the picture sent yesterday does not comply with French law?
- Hello, if the copyright holder is the author of the book, Jean-Marc Lajudie, and if you have his permission, then he must send this permission by mail to our permission system giving the titles of the deleted files and saying explicitely that he agrees for a publication here under one of the licenses allowed here. Thanks for the review of my recent image of Mount Shasta. It was a strenuous hike yesterday to get to that view, so I really appreciate that you found the dust spot. I've fixed it now. Best, --Frank Schulenburg (talk) 00:24, 29 September 2020 (UTC)
- A hike is rarely wasted time, and it is even less wasted time if you take (good) photos! I love hiking but I have much less opportunity to hike because I have to stay close to people who are dependent on me. I reviewed the image. Christian Ferrer (talk) 07:12, 29 September 2020 (UTC)

Deletion of Lops Brewing Logo
Hi,
You recently deleted a logo that I added to the Lops Brewing Logo. While this is a copyrighted image, I received written permission from the owner of the copyright to use the image in Wikipedia. Could you un-delete the image?
Thanks, Sarah Lopolito
- Hi,
Logos and trademarks are accepted in Wikimedia Commons only if
- they are in public domain (help) for a specific reason; or
- they are freely licensed by their owner, in such case please include a web link; or
- they are below the threshold of originality; or
- the copyright holder sends directly a permission to OTRS, where you can read how to do it.
Note that the permissions system (OTRS) is run by volunteers and there is a queue, if your image has been deleted, and you have sent a permission (before or after deletion), do not re-upload again the erased image yourself, it's forbidden. If the permission is valid then it will be automatically restored. Christian Ferrer (talk) 18:16, 18 October 2020 (UTC)

Suppression d'affiche des films
Bonjour Christian,
Cordialement, Christian Ferrer (talk) 16:29, 26 October 2020 (UTC)
