Template talk:Conj-and

It's not a good idea to use this. 'and' is a valid language code and we shouldn't block these with other templates. I created {{Conj}} to cover this. "{{conj|type=and}}" will result in "" and "{{conj|X|Y|type=or}}" in "X or Y". This can also be used in templates like {{Untitled}} or {{Technique/en}} where you have used if-constructs to achieve this. --Slomox (talk) 22:30, 7 September 2010 (UTC)

Works for me. Your template can even be expanded to cover all conjunctions (nor, but, yet, etc.) if we need it. Maybe we could make {{&}} a shortcut for when we just want "and" (save on some processing). I'm not sure why it' used in {{Technique/en}}, which is supposed to be an English translation... It shouldn't be used in {{Technique/en}}, but some of the logic should probably go back into {{Technique}}. E.g. the "and" parameters do not show up at all in any other language. If we put it in {{Technique}} the unsupported languages should show them too. --Slomox (talk) 00:19, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
