English: STS-107 was a space shuttle mission by NASA using the Space Shuttle Columbia, launched January 16, 2003. The seven-member crew was killed on February 1, 2003, when the shuttle disintegrated during reentry into the Earth's atmosphere.

Cieľom letu boli predovšetkým experimenty v mikrogravitácii. 1. februára 2003, počas pokusu o pristátie, keď kvôli poškodeniu tepelnej ochrany na krídle do raketoplánu vnikla žeravá plazma a spôsobila jeho deštrukciu, zahynuli všetci siedmi členovia posádky. Príčinou poškodenia tepelného štítu bol kus izolačnej peny, ktorý odpadol z externej palivovej nádrže počas štartu raketoplánu.
