Poulsen was founded in 1878 by Dorus Theus (D.T.) Poulsen (1851 - 1925). The family business was led by his sons Dines and Svend (1884 - 1974) and Svend's son Niels Dines Poulsen. Today Niels' eldest daughter Pernille (1949 - ) and her husband Mogens Olesen manage Poulsen Roser A/S.
