[edit]How does black "better reflect [Nebraska's] unicameral legislature" than does grey? Qqqqqq (talk) 19:30, 16 July 2008 (UTC)
- Grey is often used for split legislatures (as is purple), independents, and occasionally the Libertarian Party, as it is in the 1976 presidential election map (PNG and SVG). SteveSims (talk) 04:35, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
- Most/all of the state legislature maps I'm aware of on Wikipedia use purple for split control. As for 1976, do you mean this map: ? I see no grey. Qqqqqq (talk) 04:53, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
- I think he meant to say 1972, when Libertarian Party got one vote. But I agree that using black looks weird. I personally would prefer white, to reflect the fact that Nebraska does not have a lower house. Gray (a neutral color) might indeed seem to suggest split control. --76.200.181.2 (talk) 05:56, 27 November 2008 (UTC)
I still think that black is a weird color here. I agree with your suggestion of white. Qqqqqq (talk) 18:14, 23 February 2009 (UTC)
