Description
English: This is an image of the reverse of the paper Zimbabwe dollar, which circulated from 2007 - 2008.

Use of this image in article Banknotes of the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe is believed to be fair use because

  • It adds significantly to the article, as the article is specifically about the subject of the image;
  • There is no prospect of the copyright holders earning revenue from the image, as the image was widely circulated as currency for nearly twenty years; furthermore the image is already freely available from a non-commercial site.

Public domain According to section 50 of the Copyright Act [Chapter 26:1] of Zimbabwe, this work is in the public domain because it is either an image of a banknote which has been demonetized in terms of the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe Act [Chapter 22:10], or an image of a coin or the artistic work defining the design of a coin.
