Description
Norsk bokmål: trehusbebyggelse, Vålerengen politistasjon, hest, pudrettvogn, hestepærer. Oscar Hvalbye (1864-1938) tok teologisk embetseksamen 25 år gammel. Han arbeidet for bymisjonen (Kristiania Indremisjon) og var prest i Sagene menighet. Som ivrig amatørfotograf samarbeidet han med sin gode venn Anders B. Wilse. Han var virksom i Oslo i perioden ca 1890-1920. Hans fotosamling ble i 1986 gitt til Oslo Bymuseum.
