Description
English: Víctor Korner Anwandter, Nació en Valdivia, en septiembre del año 1856; hijo de Teodoro Körner y Clara Anwandter.

Se casó en 1882 con Sofía Anwandter Köhler y tuvieron hijos.

Estudió en el Liceo de Valdivia y en el Instituto Nacional de Santiago. En 1879 era bachiller en Medicina en la Universidad de Chile e interrumpió sus estudios para ingresar al servicio de Sanidad del Ejército, con motivo de la Guerra del Pacífico. Actuó como cirujano 2° del Ejército Expedicionario en las dos primeras campañas contra el Perú, 1879-1880. Se tituló de médico cirujano el 9 de mayo de 1881. Recién recibido se fue a Europa, donde permaneció tres años; estuvo en universidades de Austria, Alemania, Francia e Inglaterra; estudió ginecología, entre los años 1881 y 1883. ...
