Description	The U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Midway (CVA-41) at Cape Town, South Africa. Midway, with assigned Carrier Air Group 1 (CVG-1), circumnavigated the globe between 27 December 1954 and 14 July 1955. Ten Douglas AD-6 Skyraider of Attack Squadron VA-15 "Valions" and a single Piasecki HUP-2 Retriever of Helicopter Utility Squadron HU-2 Det.35 "Fleet Angels" are parked on the forward flight deck.
