Nederlands: In de jaren 70 werd er bij Den Bosch een gouden voorwerp opgegraven; zo groot als een euro, ongeveer 5 keer zo dik en met een gat in het midden dat de afmetingen heeft van een dubbeltje. Het bleek een uiterst zeldzame ringbroche van omstreeks 1400 te zijn.
In deze video vertelt conservator Alexandra Gaba-Van Dongen het verhaal van de broche, die nu in de collectie is van Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen. Daarbij laat ze zien dat dat er ook in de Middeleeuwen zoiets bestond als ‘Bling Bling’. Camera en editing: Wouter Schreuder Direction: Els Hoek |
