| Description |
English: Commemorative plaque to the victims of Porajnos in the 3rd district of Budapest. As part of the Romani genocide during WWII, the Gipsy people of Budapest were gathered in the grounds of the former brick factories of Óbuda, from where they were transported to the concentration camps on November 10, 1944. The plaque was inaugurated on 2 August 2021, on the occasion of the Roma Holocaust Memorial Day. (Budapest, District III, Váradi Street Nr 15/A)
Français : Plaque commémorative aux victimes du Porajnos dans le 3ème arrondissement de Budapest. Dans le cadre du génocide tsigane pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale, les Roms de Budapest ont été rassemblés dans les terrains des anciennes briqueteries d'Óbuda, d'où ils ont été transportés vers les camps de concentration le 10 novembre 1944. La plaque a été inaugurée le 2 août 2021, à l'occasion de la Journée internationale de commémoration du génocide des Roms. (15/A rue Váradi, Budapest 3e arr.)
Magyar: A porajmos áldozatainak emléktáblája Budapest III. kerületében. A második világháború alatti roma népirtás keretében az egykori óbudai téglagyárak területén gyűjtötték össze a budapesti cigányokat, ahonnan 1944. november 10-én szállították el őket a koncentrációs táborokba. Felavatva 2021. augusztus 2-án, a cigány holokauszt emléknapja alkalmából. (Budapest III. ker., Váradi utca 15/A.) |
