Description
Norsk nynorsk: Våpen for Nissedal kommune i Telemark fylke, godkjent ved kongeleg resolusjon 30. oktober 1992.
Motiv: På gull grunn tre raude nisseluver. Nissedal har fått namnet sitt frå innsjøen Nisser, som truleg kjem av gamalnorsk «Nidrsær», som igjen tyder «Den nedre sjøen». Kommunevåpenet spelar på namnet til kommunen.
