English: NGC 300 is a spiral galaxy 6 million ly away in the constellation Sculptor - The brightest of the five main spirals in the direction of the Sculptor Group - Slightly smaller than the Milky Way (94,000 ly in diameter) - Possible binary Wolf-Rayet black hole system at its core is an x-ray source (with a 30 hour period) -
