Description
Deutsch: Der Auberg im Süden von Mülheim an der Ruhr ist ein ehemaliger Truppenübungsplatz, der sich heute im Besitz des Regionalverbands Ruhr befindet und größtenteils als NSG ausgewiesen ist. Dort befinden sich einige überregional außerordentlich wertvolle und artenreiche Feuchtwiesen, unter anderem die Orchideenwiese. Das trockene Grünland hingegen ist trotz verschiedener Maßnahmen und landwirtschaftlicher Auflagen relativ artenarm. In einem Projekt des LVR soll eine historische artenreiche Glatthaferwiese entwickelt werden.
English: The Auberg in the south of Mülheim an der Ruhr is a former military training area, which is now owned by the Ruhr Regional Association and is largely designated as an NSG. There are some extremely valuable and species-rich wet meadows, including the orchid meadow. The dry grassland, on the other hand, is relatively low in species, despite various measures and agricultural requirements. In a project of the LVR, a historically species-rich smooth oat meadow is to be developed.
