Description
Español: San Miguel Arcángel, obra de madera policromada con ojos "de cascarón" (vidrio pintado por detrás). De origen español, siglo XVIII. Era el santo patrono del Fuerte de Buenos Aires, que por esa razón se denominaba "Castillo de San Miguel". Representado como un ángel guerrero, San Miguel aplasta con su pie al demonio, amenazándole con su espada. Se trata de una pieza de muy buena manufactura, tanto por su realización artesanal como por la plasticidad que exhiben los personajes.
