Ex voto painting, Genoa, Italy (1887), Oil on Canvas, Marcello Baschenis (1829-1888). "La sera del 23 7mbre 1887 veso le 5 pom., ritornando Fermino Antonio in compagnia delle proprie figlie Maria Assunta ed Aurelia dal Santuario di N.S. della Guardia si ruppe una stanga della vettura su cui si trovavano cagionando detta rottura un forte dolore al cavallo che lo conduceva per cui diedesi a precipitosa corsa mettendo in serio pericolo della vita i detti Fermino se un coraggioso popolano non arestasse il focoso cavallo dopo una vertiginosa corsa fermandolo nella località detta la Biaca (Bolzaneto). In segno di tanta grazia la famiglia Fermino offre a N.S. della Guardia il presente quadro."
