[edit]DescriptionMRAP from Camp Atterbury, Iraq.JPG |
English: Camp Atterbury Joint Maneuver, Camp Atterbury Joint Maneuver, Iraq - Deploying Soldiers will drive Mine Resistant Ambush Protective vehicles during driver training at Camp Atterbury Joint Maneuver Training Center. With the proposed increase in MRAPs on Camp Atterbury, deploying units will be able to train on theater specific MRAPs, like these Maxx-Pros, which see more use in Iraq. There are eight varieties of MRAPs that were contracted from different companies. Each version is designed for different missions. Of these, Camp Atterbury has four models; the Maxx Pro, RG33, Caimen and most recently the M-ATV, said Medlin. Soldiers are most interested in the Maxx Pro and M-ATV variants of the MRAP. |
