Français : Le slipway vu de face.
L’origine du slipway date de la seconde guerre mondiale. En 1942-43, la Marine allemande fait construire ce plan incliné pour l’entretien de ses Schnellboots (des torpilleurs capables de naviguer à plus de 40 nœuds) stationnés à La Rochelle. De la fin de la guerre jusqu’en 1995, le slipway est utilisé pour l’entretien des navires de pêche. Il est classé Monument Historique en 2002 (PA17000051). Il a subi des modifications depuis sa construction. La Rochelle, Charente-Maritime, France. |
