Summary
[edit]DescriptionLatah Sediment.jpg |
English: Sediment carried by Latah Creek enters the Spokane River in January 2020. During periods of snow melt or heavy rain, the depleted riparian habitats along the largely agricultural watershed of Latah Creek are easily eroded. The sediment from the erosion increases turbidity in the creek and impacts the Spokane River downstream of Latah Creek's confluence with the river. |
