| Description |
English: Remains of a small Roman castrum at the western part of the Limes Germanicus, today called castrum "Altes Jagdhaus" ("old hunting lodge"). The picture shows the overgrown remains of the Roman defensive wall and, in the middle, the base walls of a house from the 16th century, presumably a hunting lodge.
Deutsch: Kleinkastell "Altes Jagdhaus"an der westlichen Taunusstrecke des Obergermanischen Limes. Zu sehen sind der überwachsene Schuttwall an der Stelle der ehemaligen Wehrmauer des römischen Kastells, sowie in der Mitte die Mauerreste eines Hauses aus dem 16. Jahrhundert, bei dem es sich vermutlich um ein Jagdhaus handelte. |
