A text on the verso read Eliza Raffel, født Feveile? 17 aar gl. malet af Julius Paulsen professor (Eliza Raffel, born Feveile? 17 years old. Painted by Julius Paulsen professor). This can not be a 1912 inscription, as Elisa Fevejle (born 1895) married Alfred Berlak Raffel (1879-1966) in 1916, and only then became Elisa Raffel.
