Site of Hambleton Station â 1

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Site of Hambleton Station – 1
The station closed in 1959, well before the Beeching era, and all evidence of it appears to have been removed when the Selby Diversion was created, involving the raising of the Leeds to Selby line to cross the new East Coast Main Line, and the formation of Hambleton south curve, the latter, at ground level immediately behind the green fence to the left, being on the old through alignment at this point..
