Deutsch: Inschrift Gedenkstein vor Museum: Hier lebte seit 1920 die Familie von Max und Maria Seligmann. Von 1933 - 1945 wurden sie von den Nationalsozialisten als Juden diskriminiert und verfolgt; vier ihrer Kinder wurden ermordet.

Seit 1994 dient dieser Ort dem Rhein-Sieg-Kreis als Gedenkstätte "Landjuden an der Sieg". Das Museum hält die Erinnerung wach an die jüdischen Familien, die einst hier gelebt haben, und an ihre Kultur.

The family of Max and Mary Seligmann lived here beginning in 1920. From 1933 - 1945 they were discriminated against and persecuted by the Nazis as Jews; four of their children were murdered. Since 1994, this site has served the Rhein-Sieg District as the memorial "Country Jews on the Sieg River". The museum keeps alive the memory of the Jewish families who once lived here, and of their culture.
