Summary

[edit]
Description
English: This picture was captured in early morning at Gadisar lake. This is one of the most important attractions in Jaisalmer. Excavated in 1367 by Rawal Gadsi Singh, it is a scenic rainwater lake surrounded by small temples and shrines of Amar Sagar. Earlier this lake was used as main water source of Jaisalmer. Due to increased water demand for agriculture, the lake is increasingly threatened to dry out.
